An essential member of the technical services team covering Africa and the Middle East, at the core of our customer-oriented organization. Join us to grow together!

The Technical Support works closely with their supervisor, field technicians, colleagues, and customers to ensure a constant and accurate exchange of technical information. The goal is to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met ensuring best in class service quality.

The Technical Support is an expert on all aspects of Bobst equipment. They must be able to provide support to customers, field service technicians, and sales. Answers and analyze customer’s emergency calls and requests. This position's daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Based on the analysis, he proposes available solutions to the Customer to troubleshoot the problem on Bobst Product for
  • Corrugated board packaging.
  • Follows up the troubleshooting on Bobst Products
  • Remotely diagnose problems through “e-service." on Bobst Products
  • Follows up the intervention until sending and saving technicians' reports.
  • Drives the service interventions by FST.
  • Identifies opportunities to solve customer problem by recommending spare parts, field repair and onsite training or in Bobst training centers.
  • Accountable to escalate to Product lines to find a solution to a recurrent problem in a product.
  • Accountable to transmit to local technicians information on how to solve a problem.
  • Follows up the implementation of the solutions

Education and languages:

  • Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic degree minimum on Technical High School or University
  • Good knowledge of Arabic, French & English (Speaking and writing)

Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience in a similar role, preferably within the printing and converting equipment industry is sought for. Knowledge and experience on folding carton process and equipment will be highly valued.
