The "Specification Engineer" is responsible for promoting and ensuring loyalty to Knauf systems among various stakeholders in the construction sector in Tunisia, Libya, and African countries. They play a key role in providing technical assistance, training, and integrating Knauf solutions into construction projects.

Main Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

• Relationship with construction sector stakeholders:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, construction companies, installers, and control offices.
• Build loyalty among these stakeholders towards Knauf systems and support them in their projects.
• Identify and develop partnerships with key players in the construction sector to strengthen Knauf's presence.
• Collaboration with legal entities:
• Work with ministries, professional associations (APAV, etc.), and other legal entities in the construction field to promote Knauf systems.
• Technical assistance and on-site supervision:
• Provide technical assistance on construction sites where Knauf systems are used.
• Ensure the proper implementation of Knauf solutions.
• Internal technical support:
• Collaborate with various company departments to provide technical support.
• Participate in the preparation of technical documents in collaboration with the marketing department.
• Technical project studies:
• Analyze construction projects during the study phase and integrate Knauf systems into technical specifications.
• Study projects during the execution phase, provide technical documents (2D and 3D details), and propose Knauf solutions if they are not yet specified.
• Preparation of technical documents:
• Draft technical descriptions of the various Knauf systems.
• Training and awareness:
• Organize and lead training sessions for stakeholders in the construction sector in Tunisia and African countries.
• Prospection and development:
• Identify and prospect new construction projects in African countries.
• Represent Knauf at trade shows, conferences, and professional events to promote products and solutions.
• Reporting:
• Report directly to the Technical Manager on action plans and results achieved.
  

What We’d Love For You To Have

• Architect or civil engineer.
• Basic knowledge of construction systems and Knauf solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a team within a multicultural environment and collaborate with different departments.
• Availability for frequent travel in Tunisia, Libya, and African countries.
• Proficiency in technical design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and office software.
• Fluency in French and English (Arabic is an asset).
• Adaptability and organizational skills.
